Fresh Wave Festival X: Let’s Celebrate!

This summer we are preparing the biggest celebration ever! The jubilee, tenth edition of the Fresh Wave Festival under the X label, brings love, happiness and joy to the magnificent Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka and will gather a record number of regional and world wide known performers, who will perform on four festival stages from August 11 to 13, 2022!

Created as an idea of ​​several friends, and in spite of those who claimed that such a thing is not possible, the Fresh Wave Festival has gone through a thorny path from an outsider to the pride of the city and this part of the world. Holding the festival under almost impossible conditions, when we were the subject of local debates but also in the time of historically worst floods back in 2014. when everyone else gave up, Fresh Wave, in its own way, persevered in values ​​that are the foundation of one of the most exciting positive things in last 30 years in this part of the world!

Despite all obstacles and circumstances that were not conducive to creating a recognizable event throughout the region and Europe, Fresh Wave Festival has proven its quality on the international scene with enthusiasm, support and incredible energy and love of festival fans -the best audience on the planet!

Thanks to an army of fans of the largest music festival in BiH, it was recognized and awarded and gladly visited by the festival audience from more than 30 countries! This is a big responsibility and obligation to persevere on the path of creating a unique event, which puts Banja Luka not only on the regional and European but also on the world map of destinations that must be visited, which makes the festival’s contribution to tourism and economy and other social areas almost immeasurable. .

Promoting not only the festival program but also the contents, sights and specifics of the city, such as Kastel Fortress, Banj Brdo or Vrbas River Canyon, in the last 10 years FWF has popularized Banja Luka and everything it can offer to the world audience. So we showed that love for the city is not just a cliché but also a real effort to make it more attractive, beautiful and better!

The Fresh Wave Festival has so far hosted some of the regional and world’s biggest performers, including: Sven Vath, Sasha, Nastia, Ilario Alicante, De Borah De Luca, Boris Brejcha, Dubfire, Hernán Cattáneo, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, David Morales , Pan – Pot, James Zabiela, Prok & Fitch, Cristian Varela, Jon Rundel, Uto Karem, Freemasons, Marshall Jefferson, LTJ Bukem, Filip Motovunski, Sinisa Tamamovic, Mladen Tomic, Marko Nastic, Nebs Jack, Space Motion, Bvana, Prti Bee Gee, Smoke Mardeljano, Klinac, Who See, Marcello, Ajs Nigrutin and Timbe and many, many others, and the list is just being completed so what we are preparing for the first big jubilee of the festival will, without a doubt, be the occasion for the biggest celebration at Kastel Fortress so far!
