Bad Copy and superstar Hiljson Mandela are coming to Banjaluka
It’s time to mark your calendars, as these are only the first two names of the festivals’ thirteenth edition that will turn Kastel fortress in Banjaluka into a place where the biggest music legends are playing the strongest beats.
Kastel Fortress in Banjaluka will become the center of urban sound from August 7th to Aug9th. This tear, Bad Copy and the popular trap artist Hiljson Mandela are coming to the Live Stage of Freshwave festival, and are sure to give the audience a top notch musical spectacle!

The Belgrade based hip-hop trio made up of Sky Wikluh, Ajs Nigrutin and Timbe has been dominating the regional stage for almost three decades now, with their unique humour, satirical text and a specific approach to music. If you’ve still never experienced their energy live, Freshwave is offering you a chance to see what it looks like when Bad Copy takes over the mics and the stage!
Freshwave is also welcoming one of the most sought after trap artists of today, Hiljson Mandela. His specific flow and and texts which acurately depict the life of a new generation have made him into an important name on the regional trap scene. In may 2022., Hiljson published an album “Mandela Effect” which was soon announced to be one of the best trap albums of the year. The album destroyed the streaming lists in Croatia, and 5 songs from it have been featured on the Billboard Croatia Song list, which made Hiljson the first artist to do this.
The album brought a powerful combination of 12 songs with strong features of regional artists. Recently, Hiljson Mandela came out with the song “Pa pa pa”, that is already winning over audiences region -wide. His spectacular performance will shake the fortress to it’s core.
