CRISTIAN VARELA starts a multi-month celebration of the Fresh Wave Jubilee!

The tenth jubilee year of the Fresh Wave Festival will be marked by a multi-month celebration that will begin at the beginning of next month, with the guest appearance of one of the festival’s headliners so far!  

The techno wizard, who serves his magic on 4 turntables and who was awarded as the best #technoDJ by the famous DJ Awards, CRISTIAN VARELA, arrives in Banja Luka on Saturday, March 5th, at the KSB club.   Apart from his enormous talent, he gained the cult status of the Spanish king of techno as the owner of the influential publishing labels Pornographic and Codes Experiments Records. The line-up will be joined by DJ mag, who has been on the scene for almost a quarter of a century – Woodie as well as the youngest team of performers from the BiH electronic scene: Miloš Drvenica and Nikola Serdar.

Cristian Varela has released numerous EP releases over the past decades, and the incredible career of this gramophone virtuoso was immortalized in 2018 in a special documentary marking 25 years of his career witnessed by many friends and colleagues, including names like: Carla Cox , Chrisa Liebing or Joseph Capriati!

Cristian Varela has won more than 40 awards, including “Best Techno DJ in the World” at the 2007 DJ Awards and 2013 again.

A limited number of tickets at a price of 20 KM will be available from Sunday, February 9 at the Hogwarts pub in Banja Luka.
