  • One of the pioneers of electronic sound in this part of the planet, Petar Dundov, is an absolute regional star who has an incredible number of performances and a considerable number of releases whose impact is difficult to measure but was certainly crucial for the affirmation of many electronic music performers. Although the word “techno” may not give enough detail about his style, it is probably the closest description of what his music sticks to and yet it is the feeling that his songs are literally alive, evolving, expanding and increasing in intensity, which gives his music a unique sound. and his performances are epithets of unrepeatable and unforgettable.

Ever since the 90’s and the beginnings of clubbing in this area, Dundov has imposed himself as a DJ who tried to be behind the DJ desk to deal with production. As strange and somewhat vague as it may sound since he introduced himself to the audience under a pseudonym and then with his brother Simon through the significant project “Brother’s Yard”, he tried to turn techno into metaphorical components, slang-wise – to disassemble it into components and then reassemble a whole new way.

It was this art of understanding electronic music that secured him respect for the industry ten years ago and, quite logically, followed by support from greats, ie names such as Timo Maas, Sasha, Dubfire and Ben Clock. The year 2010 was a big year when he found himself on the charts of Guy J, Laurent Garnier and Sven Väth.

“I’m glad that people who love music recognize my works as ‘timeless,’ like the works of Philip Glass and similar authors. That tells me I’m on the right track.” Peter spoke in his own way, and we could say that in addition to his music, he has an impressive approach to what he does and an almost always infallible measure of modesty, desire for progress and a kind of gentlemanly composure – which still makes him desirable on dance floors. for DJ counters across the region and beyond!

The new EP “Euklida”, with the song of the same name and another called “Intiwatana” was released for Sudbeat Music, which also releases the icon of progressive sound Hernan Cattaneo, and is a unique pleasure for all true fans of refined sound, which will be able to feel it on upcoming Nektar Fresh Wave Festival as part of the first festival evening on the Energy stage, where Forniva, Andrej Jelić, Stefan Ivanković, Lūka and Goran Emkić will perform along with Petar Dundov.
