A spectacular beggining for Freshwave festival: thousands at Kastel even before the first beat

BANJALUKA- Freshwave festival 2025. has officialy started, opening with an explosibe atmosphere and incredible numbers on the first day! Kastel fortress welcomed thousands of people even before the gates opened at 7pm, and long lines and fiery energy announced a night to remember.
The opening was marked by an unforgettable Red Bull FMX Jam, an adrenaline show which left the audience breathless. The programe started at 8pm, and visitors welcomed morocross stars that literally flew over the audience doing cliffhangers, supermen, backgflips and a number of other tricks,with ovations and loud applause. The jumps were filled with pyrotechnics and the sounds of DJ Kosnik, creating a true audio-visual spectacle. The audience was led through the night by a famous TV host Srdjan Erceg whose charm, energy and interactions raised the atmosphere even more, motivating the audience to give the energy back to the drivers in the form of loud applause.

Star of the night was the spanish red bull sportsman Jose Mincha Canosa, who was joined by top notch FMX drivers Mario Lucas, Troy Verburgh and Jens Hvolboll, amazing the audience with unique performances.
After an adrenaline filled opening, the programe moved to the festival stages. Kranksvester lit up the audience with their hits, raw humour and larger than life energy. After them came Bad Copy, bringing a recognizable Belgrade spirit of hip hop classics, turning the fortress into a large club podium. These two performances lit up the atmosphere even more, getting the night ready to be filled with even more rhitm and dancing.
The main stage exploded with the performance of Kobosil, a techno icon from Berlin. His dark, pulsating set hypnotised the masses, and the walls of Kastel rung out with raw energy, while the entranced audience followed each drop. Kobosil gave us a set which is rarely heard and felt- raw, powerful and precise, with an autenthic signature of the berlin underground.

The whole night was filled with great atmosphere, with no incidents, with smiles, dance and euphoria which was felt in each part of the fortress. Freshwave confirmed its status as the strongest electronic music festical in BiH and the region.
All is ready for day two, which brings you even bigger names and an intro to the weekend which is going to break all records, judging by the opening. Kastel continues breathing with the rhytm of Freshwave tonight, and visitors can expect more surprises and even more unforgettable moments.
