Day two of Freshwave lit up Kastel, finale promises an unforgettable night

Day 2 of freshwave confirmed what was rumoured from day 1- this year’s edition of the festival pushes the limits and the standards of music events of the region.
Last night, Banjaluka once again proved itself to be the host of one of the strongest events in the region- day 2 of freshwave festival brought us top notch production, diverse musical genres and performances which will surely be talked about.

On live stage, this festival story was first told by Kosnik, and then we witnessed the return of a cultural phenomenon from Belgrade- Prti Bee Gee. Their raw, recognizable sound woke up the masses and raised the adrenaline, and the atmosphere exploded like never before as soon as Vojko V stepped on stage. The audience sand along to each lyric, from Pasta Italiana to Mamacita, and the energy on stage and in front of it was at an all time high.

Last year, Vojko V was crowned as king of Freshwave, and following his style he made a joke after this performance.

“All was great, my synth broke but the audience was good and Banjaluka is the bomb. Last year, i was surprised by the title of king of freshwave, but it made me happy. I’m here next year and then, call the man- call Dodik! , he said, laughing, alluding to a lyric from his popular song.
After incredible live stage performances, main was reserved for true techno magic – Sinisa Tamamovic masterfully lifted up the energy, preparing the audience for the dark, retro sounds of Pablo Bozzi, while Pavel Petrov and Ilija Djokovic brought the final, powerful push which shook up the fortress walls.

Sets and live shows of Nirvana, Energy and Funk You Stage were full of genre diversity- from psychodelic travels with impressive visuals , groove and funk, to fiery edm rhytms holding the audience entranced. Each stage had its own story.
Night two of Freshwave confirmed what was rumoured from day 1- this year’s edition of freshwave pushes the limits and standards of music events of the region. Regardless if you were in front of the main stage, in the trance oasis of Nirvana stage or in the intimate surroundings of Funk You zone, the atmosphere was equally as intense and filled with positive energy.

And toinght- the grand finale of Live Stage brings you the energy of Hiljson Mandela and the powerfull message of Beogradski Sindikat, while Nebs Jack an Mladen Tomić will dominate the main stage. After all of that, we will greet the techno queen herself, Nicole Moudaber. The audience can expect a night to be remembered, because freshwave is going to top off the summer with it’s last night.
