Jubilee Fresh Wave presents the King of Progressive: Hernán Cattáneo
The absolute king of progressive sound and Argentinian brand Hernán Cattáneo completes the list of headliners that will perform at the jubilee edition of the Fresh Wave Festival this summer at Banja Luka's Kastel Fortress. This year's Fresh Wave will host some of the most renowned and influential world music scene performers, and Hernán Cattáneo joined the list of the confirmed artists that will perform at the captivating Kastel Fortress in Banja Luka from 11th to 13th of August.
The huge 10th-year Fresh Wave birthday celebration wouldn’t be the same without the performance of this elusive producer and DJ and one of the most adored progressive sound masters! He was crowned so many times as the king of progressive sound, last time at the famous DJ Awards in 2019. Hernán is considered the undisputed master of the DJ desk and producer with an outstanding music selection which he skillfully combines into something more than that, making his sets, especially at open-air performances, anthological, memorable and special.
From Warung Brazil, Yellow in Tokyo, and LA’s Avalon to Stereo Montreal, Burning Man, and London’s Ministry of Sound, there is scarcely a club, festival or dancefloor on the planet that he hasn’t transported on a masterful music journey. In more than 30 years of DJing, he made 11 albums, 30 singles and 50 remixes. His legacy is immeasurable, and what he represents in the world of electronic music is unquestionably synonymous with the best of the best.
Hernán Cattáneo returns to the biggest Fresh stage, which will bring together some of the most wanted names from 11th to 13th of August at one of the oldest fortresses in the region – Banja Luka Kastel Fortress. The list includes Adam Beyer, Sama ‘Abdulhadi, Technasia, Claptone, Hot Since 82, but also Buč Kesidi, Senidah, Kukus, Vojko V, Z++, Bad Copy, Smoke Mardeljano, Grše, Mladen Tomic, After Affair, Sinisa Tamamovic, Coeus, Woodie, Nebs Jack, and many others!
