The fortress is transforming into a dancefloor: A free musical spectacle on Kastel’s summer stage

This year, May in Banjaluka is bringing more than just spring- it’s bringing the pulsating energy of music, unity and freedom! Kastel Fortress, the place where history meets today, is transforming into a stage for a unique party under the open skies on May 16th. And the most important thing – entry is completely free.
Imagine a night underneath the open skies, stone walls lit up by the rhytm, waves of music pulsating through the cury, and hundreds of people dancing as one. Exactly this kind of night is waiting for you at Kastel, organized by Fresh Wave festival and European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Banjaluka will be the host of a party that is not going to be spoken about, but lived through.
This may evening, Kastel is not going to be just a Fortress, it will be a stage of freedom, a symbol of unity and an epicenter of rhytm. The summer stage will be transformed into a space not yet seen: open to all, without barriers, with music inviting us all to move, breathe and celebrate together.
Music will be the responsibility of some of the most notable names of the regional electronic scene: Nebs Jack, Ivan Z, Stefan Ivankovic, Jan Frost. The cherry on top will be the performance of world renowned DJ Technasia.

The European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Freshwave festival, Garden of Dreams and From Herz with Loce are organizing three events in honour of Europe day in three cities- Sarajevo, Mostar and Banjaluka. The events of Mostar and Sarajevo have already been a succes, and know we’re awaiting the grand final- the party at Kastel in Banjaluka.
