Fresh Wave Heaven Presents Another Big Name in Electronic Music – Booka Shade!

Booka Shade will perform at the eighth edition of Nektar Fresh Wave Festival, on the second festival night. The festival called Fresh Wave Heaven will be held from 8th to 10th August at Banja Luka’s Kastel Fortress!

Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, producers and a DJ duo called Booka Shade, are the authentic representatives of the original Frankfurt electronic scene, owners of seven albums, numerous single editions and one of the most influential publishing houses Get Physical Music!

Big festivals rank their sets among the top ten, and famous BBC Radio DJ,Pete Thong, says they are one of his favorite performers. Progressive house sound brought them immortal dance podium hit M.A.N.D.Y., and they are known for their high-profile remixes: Juan MacLean (“Tito’s Way”), Moby (“Dream About Me”), Hot Chip (“Just Like We”), The Knife (“Marble House”), Dave Gahan (“Kingdom”).

They are favorite guests at the legendary Sonar Festival held in Barcelona, and have been on tours with Depeche Mode, Mylo, Röyksopp … The new single ‘The Unseen / Banderas’ was released for Blaufield on June 1st this year. They still publish editions of other artists. They still hold high pace in number of scheduled performances, performing around the globe, literally from South and North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and all the way to Australia and New Zealand.

Fresh Wave Heaven, besides names such as Pan-Pot, Matador, Joris Voorn, Butch, Hernan Cattaneo will present this great duo to the audience at Banja Luka’s Kastel Fortresss this summer. This year’s concept of the festival is already beating its own record, not only by the number of performances of the biggest stars in electronic music industry, but also by premiering them in Bosnia and Herzegovina!
