  • Red Bull athlete Jose Mincha leads a team of top FMX riders who will perform on August 7th at the Kastel Fortress as part of the Red Bull FMX Jam. Joining him are Mario Lucas and Troy Verburgh.

The biggest FMX show in the region, Red Bull FMX Jam will be turning Banja Luka’s Kastel Fortress into a stage for the wildest moto-aerial stunts this August. On the evening of August 7th, spectators can expect a night full of adrenaline, light effects, roaring engines, and gravity-defying tricks. And now, the names of the riders bringing this unique freestyle motocross spectacle to life have been revealed.

The biggest name among them is Jose “Mincha,” the Spanish Red Bull athlete who has taken over the European scene in recent years with performances at events like Night of the Jumps and Gladiator Games. Mincha, whose real name is Jose Canosa, is known for his technical precision and bold aerial combinations.

Just recently, he set social media on fire with a tandem trick alongside Danny Roman – while Mincha soared over the ramp, Roman flew underneath him at full speed in a wingsuit. Crowds in Banja Luka can expect a spectacle, because Mincha isn’t coming to participate – he’s coming to dominate.

Also coming from Spain is Mario Lucas, a rider who has already made his mark on motocross tracks with multiple Spanish championship titles and a podium finish at the EMX125 in Valkenswaard. He recently transitioned into the world of FMX, seeking a way to get closer to the audience and showcase both his speed and charm through freestyle tricks. Riding a KTM SX 250, Lucas brings the perfect balance between classic motocross style and a new freestyle spirit.

Joining them is Troy Verburgh, a young rider carrying a name known to every FMX fan. His father, Jimmy Verburgh, was one of the sport’s pioneers in Europe and played a key role in its development. Now Troy continues the family legacy – riding a GASGAS MC 250 and bringing freshness, precision, and incredible confidence to the show, despite being the youngest of the crew. Audiences can expect clean lines, high jumps, and tricks rarely seen from someone so new to the big stage.

Red Bull FMX Jam is not a competition, it’s a show, a fusion of art and extreme sport. With a combination of music, motorcycles, and jaw-dropping tricks, spectators are in for an unforgettable experience.

Red Bull FMX Jam takes place on August 7th at the Kastel Fortress, as part of the opening day of the Freshwave Festival. Tickets for the event are included in the festival’s daily passes, and children under 14 can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. Doors open at 7:00 PM, and the show starts at 8:00 PM.
