Aiden and Prti Bee Gee are coming to Kastel Fortress!

The Freshwave festival, which is being held from August 7 th to Aug9th at Kastel Fortress is presenting two new, explosive names in its rich lineup. DJ Aiden, a new star of the techno scene based in Berlin, and Prti Bee Gee, a hip hop group with a cult following from Belgrade, are joining Kobosil, Pablo Bozzi, Hiljson Mandela, Vojko V and Beogradski sindikat to form the thirtheenth edition of the festival and make it one of the most attractive ones yet.

Aiden followed her musical path from New York, through Milan, all the way to Berlin, and she’s a part of a generation of artists erasing limits between past, present and future. Her unique sound combines industrial and hardcore, creating a fonetic musical atmosphere already overtaking the world’s underground scene. Inspired by the rich american dance culture and the heritage of british edm, Aiden quickly secured her spot in Kobosil’s powerfull 44 Label Group label. Her sets are famous for their forceful enerfy, dark rhytms and extreme BPMs, guaranteeing an unforgettable performance at Freshwave.

Joining Aiden, the hip hop group Prti Bee Gee is coming to Freshwave as well. They built their popularity in the early 2000s in Belgrade, and are now famous for their authentic lyrics, sharp humour and specific style. Prti Bee Gee are an unavoidable name when talking about the regional hip hop scene. Their hits “Tacno u pre podne”, “Pajp”, and “Prti Bee Gee” have become a symbol of a whole generation.

The Prti Bee Gee performance is bringing an atmosphere of classic hip hop underground, which is an additional nod to the diversity of Freshwave festival.

A reminder, the opening of the festival, on Aug 7 th , will be marked by the Red Bull FMX Jam spectacle – an incredible freestyle motocross show which features the world renowned FMX masters showing off their tricks high in the air, in front of an audience. This unique event is bringing you a mix of precision, bravery and adrenaline, with impressive light shows, pyrotechnics and top notch music production.
